NC Society of Radiologic Technologists Conference
This past weekend, Caitlin Bearden attended the North Carolina Society of Radiologic Technologists Annual Conference in Asheville, North Carolina. The NC Society of Radiologic Technologists promotes and enhances the highest practice standards in radiation and imaging sciences through its services and activities. At the annual conference, Ms. Bearden presented information about the North Carolina Lung Screening Registry to recruit new radiology imaging sites into the study. In addition, Christine Bentley, a technologist at one of our partnering sites Piedmont Healthcare, presented on low dose lung cancer screening to increase awareness of lung cancer screening.
